CIGIU Assisted to Donate Nucleic Acid Detection Kits to Italy

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, China International Graphene Industry Union (CIGIU) has fully utilized the international resources advantages of the platform to arouse the power of member units and coordinate multi-parties without fear of setbacks to fully participate in international epidemic prevention and control. On the morning of March 19, under the coordination of CIGIU, its cooperation partner of Beijing Applied Biological Technologies Co., Ltd. donated 10032 nucleic acid detection kits to Italy through China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development in the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.

Luca Ferrari, Ambassador of Italy in China, Li Xiaolin, President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFF), Song Jingwu and Li Xikui, Vice Presidents of CPAFF, William Liu, the Vice President of Beijing Association for Advanced Carbon Industry Promotion and the Secretary General of CIGIU and the representatives of enterprises and institutions attended the donation ceremony.

Li Xiaolin said that China will not forget the precious support Italian people gave to the Chinese people at the most difficult time of fighting against the coronavirus. China will continue adhering to the concept of community of common destiny for all mankind, actively carry out international cooperation in anti-virus, and is willing to maintain close communication with Italy, share experiences in epidemic prevention, jointly promote the continuous development of China-Italy comprehensive strategic partnership, further deepen the friendship between the peoples of the two countries in anti-virus battle, and firmly believe that the Chinese and Italian peoples will overcome the epidemic, survive the cold winter and welcome the bright and beautiful spring.

Luca Ferrari, Ambassador of Italy in China expressed the gratitude for China’s help on behalf of the Italian government and peoples. He said that "Adversity shows true friendship", which is the most concrete manifestation of the deep friendship between peoples of the two counties. It is the 50^th anniversary of diplomatic relation establishment between China and Italy this year. The friendship between peoples of the two countries has a long history. When facing the COVID-19, they believe that the close unity between China and Italy will win the anti-virus battle.

The friendship between China and Italy will link the hearts of peoples of the two countries together. China and Italy will stay and work together to fight against the coronavirus!
