CIGIU Facilitates a Survey on Graphene Industry Development Strategy in Jiangsu Province

 

From March 28^th to 29^th, Professor Liu Zhongfan of Peking University led a graphene industry development strategy research team to Jiangsu Province. They visited nearly 20 key graphene enterprises, parks and service institutions in Changzhou and Wuxi. Ruan Ruxiang, Permanent Vice Chairman of CIGIU, attended the event for a better understanding of the status quo of local graphene industry development.

On the morning of March 28th, the research team visited key graphene enterprises and production lines in Changzhou. Then the team visited a series of exhibition halls, innovation centers and research institutes. At the symposium afterward, an in-depth discussion was held between Mr. Liu and the local representatives of graphene industry.

Mr. Liu pointed out that the graphene industry in Jiangsu had an early start, playing an important role in the industry in China. Based on data collection and an in-depth understanding of status quo of the local graphene industry, the team aims to offer countermeasures and suggestions to tackle the potential problems in R&D and operation.

On the afternoon of March 28th, the research team visited the graphene exhibition hall of Wuxi Graphene Industry Development Demonstration Zone, Wuxi Graphene Application and Research Center and other representative enterprises to gain a further understanding of the development status of graphene industry in terms of R&D achievements, innovation and service.

On February 29th, the research team visited the Test and Research Laboratory of National Graphene Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. The team also visited the National Graphene Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center to grasp the latest breakthrough in inspection, technical support and standard formulation.

At the symposium presided over by Ruan Ruxiang, Permanent Vice Chairman of CIGIU, the research team heard the reports about Wuxi Graphene Industry Demonstration Zone, National Graphene Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and enterprises in the industrial park. Mr. Liu fully affirmed the achievements made in the Zone and at the Center in the industrial application and standard inspection of graphene, and pointed out that the graphene industry in Wuxi, with high standard platform and quality talent pool, will contribute to the future development of China’s graphene industry.

CIGIU has committed to promoting the development of graphene industry in China. Relying on the information collected in this survey, CIGIU will give play the advantages of industry-university-research model to the promote graphene industrialization in China for a new model of development together with relevant enterprises and units.
